REDWOOD Retirement Specialists Director of Actuarial Services 

Gene is the Chief Actuary and Director of Actuarial Services for the REDWOOD Retirement Platform. His expertise is astounding. Only to be outdone by his vigorous work ethic and ingenuity in deriving a solution to almost any challenging scenario our partners put in front of him. He manages the day to day workflow for handling all administration and actuarial workflow throughout our annual process schedule, actuarial valuation development, reporting and filing requirements and assistance with all matters on plan compliance with ERISA laws and DOL, IRS, and PBGC regulations.  

Gene has 27 years of experience in all aspects of Defined Benefit Pension Plan administration, audits, and insurance inside pension retirement plans, as well as, fully insured plans. Gene has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Mathematics, as well as, ASA, EA, and MAAA actuarial designations.
